An approachable starting point for exploring wearable assistance.

The proposed shoulder-to-thigh path uses elastic elements and cord guides to explore assistance during bending. Adjustable webbing and removable padding follow the body, while metal hardware keeps the component layout visible.

This is an engineering exploration. Assistance force, comfort, durability and the WORK/PARK release still need physical development and testing.

Measure & map the fit

Record chest, waist, hips, shoulder-to-waist length and separate thigh measurements over the intended clothing. Transfer the belt and cuff positions to a mannequin or drawing. The reference body is not a universal size template.

Lay out the soft harness

+

Identify P01 webbing, P02 adjusters and P06 padding. Use removable, nonstructural mock-up attachments to compare strap paths and cuff positions on the reference form. Final cut lengths and structural seams are still unresolved.

Study the pelvic interfaces

Compare the actual P04 pulley envelope, P07 cord diameter, C01 metal support and C02 fasteners. Mark mounting positions in a non-load-bearing template. Do not drill from the render: the axle stack, edge distances and attachment loads need engineering.

Develop the elastic & release system

Keep elastics disconnected from any person during development. Tubing terminations, extension limits, containment, structural connections and the dual WORK/PARK release must be resolved and bench validated before a loaded wearable assembly is possible.

Review before a physical build

+

Reconcile supplier measurements with interface drawings and an updated budget. Obtain qualified review of the load path and release behavior. The current PDF documents the design study; it does not supply validated fabrication drawings or a ready-to-use device.

Is this a finished, tested exoskeleton?+

No. V0.3 is a digital anatomical fit and component study. There is no physical prototype or measured assistance data. It is not certified, PPE, a medical device, a fall-arrest system, or evidence of increased safe lifting capacity.

Can I build it for less than CAD $300?+

The current estimate is CAD $299.18, including shipping and tax allowances and contingency. Five custom entries are not quoted, and the release is unresolved. Final cost may exceed the target. The CAD $5 PDF purchase is separate from the hardware estimate.

Are these exact manufacturer CAD models?+

The catalog identifies specific supplier parts and SKUs. Some dimensions and mounting details in the visualization remain estimates. Verify the actual parts before creating interface drawings. No supplier endorses this exosuit.

How do I receive the PDF?+

When checkout is available, pay CAD $5 through Stripe and return to this site. Your download unlocks after payment is confirmed. Keep the same browser and allow its essential purchase cookie. Save your PDF and Stripe receipt; this is not a subscription.

Does one reference body fit everyone?+

No. The current model follows one 195 cm reference body. Digital surface checks are not proof of comfort or physical fit. Personal measurements, clothing clearance and physical fitting remain necessary.
